On this page we are pleased to share our background story with you and "why" we are now recognised in Italy and Europe as the ideal partner in fixing photovoltaic panels and solar power system structures, especially in "NO DRILLING" systems.

The aim is not to make "self-celebrations," but much more humbly to tell you the pure truth, which is that Sun-Age was not founded on theoretical school desks, or with phantom funding, but simply ... from the street, first and foremost falling flat on our faces with the typical problems of retailers and installers, listening to their needs and committing ourselves day after day to help them improve their work, solving all those critical issues most concretely and effectively possible.

In fact, the story of Sun-Age grew out of the passion and creativity of our founder, Tiziano Dalla Costa, who at a certain point in his life found himself faced with a new challenge.

It all happened when a friend asked him to help install a photovoltaic system on a tiled roof.

Tiziano - with his well-known creativity, innovative spirit and long experience as a professional climber - immediately realised that the traditional way of mounting and fixing the solar panels was time-consuming and useless.

Therefore, he decided to create a fast and functional system and invented the "channel roof tiles", i.e. a product where the tiles could be placed without the need to drill holes.

Thus the idea of the "Bent Tile Bracket" was born, which to this day is still our most popular best-seller on the market.

Tiziano performed several tests with resins that he used to make climbing grips and eventually found a prototype that was soon made of fibreglass.

He then decided to show the Bent Tile Bracket to various local exhibitors at renewable energy fairs, and it was appreciated by customers who placed their first orders.

At that point, he started his first steel production through a local company that supported him in moulding, design and production.

In addition, to avoid problems with water infiltration or leaks from the roofs where photovoltaic and solar panels were mounted, he developed the idea of using adhesives for NO DRILLING and selected a very effective and reliable product in collaboration with a local company.

This is how the spirit of Sun-Age was founded in 2008, a company that still today wants to share the same characteristics of its founder with its customers: innovation, courage, dynamism and above all a real problem-solving orientation that our dealer and installer customers face every day in the assembly of solar panel structures, to the mutual benefit of both the trade and the end consumer.
